The health and safety of Hi – Tech Flooring employees, other trades that work around us and the general public is something that is of paramount importance to us.

All employees have a responsibility to ensure that the work that they carry out is exercised with the maximum amount of care and follows the information provided within the companies Health and Safety policy.

PPE is provided to all employees and regualry inspected by our contracts managers. Hi – Tech Flooring Ltd branded PPE is something that we feel is essential to let our clients know we are on site and let their client know who we are.
An external health and safety consultant is employed and called upon whenever competent advice is required and update us on any changes that may occur in the legislation. This ensures that our procedures are compliant with health and safety law at all times. Site visits and inspections are carried out by the consultant on a periodic basis.

We recognise the need to educate the workforce where necessary and training is provided to employees wherever possible. This includes the Construction Site Safety Supervisors course (SSSTS), first aid training and Behavioural Safety Management training. All our flooring installers are CSCS NVQ level 2 qualified.
To further backup our commitment to health and safety in the workplace we have been awarded full CHAS accreditation.

The directors review our policies on an annual basis and any required changes are carried out alongside our Health and Safety consultant.
